Meditation for Inner Peace
Mediation is a powerful way to gain inner peace, which often comes from being less reactive to uncontrolled emotions and having little enough stress that life can be experienced with a calm sense of understanding. Many practitioners find that inner peace becomes attainable via meditation.

The problem
A sustained sense of inner peace has been the goal of humanity’s thinkers, creatives and spiritual seekers for thousands of years - but it often remains elusive.
We are primed through our evolutionary history to focus on the negative and become stressed and anxious, even if it’s only over imagined circumstances.
When you combine this human predilection with the hectic, isolated and spiritually deprived nature of modern world, inner peace becomes more difficult to achieve than ever.
-
How it affects you
Without a sustainable sense of inner peace, we can find it harder to be happy, and have difficulty developing a strong sense of who we are and our place in the world.
This lack of internal calm, in some cases, can make us less resilient to the usual slings and arrows of life - making adversity harder to face.
Inner peace will never come from our external circumstances. It will never be stable. Why? Because external factors are ephemeral. We cannot rely on any person, or any situation, to remain the same.
As all wise men from all cultures and epochs of time have agreed, until we have inner peace, we have nothing. So developing that elusive quality is key to a happy and healthy existence.

How can Beeja help?
Through regular meditation, we can achieve experiences of transcendence. There is a growing realisation within every fibre of our being that we are part of something greater than our body form and our ego.
There is a greater sense of connectivity, not only with ourselves but with all the forms and phenomena of nature.
The grip that our ego has over us, in terms of seeing itself as an isolated, body-dependent consciousness, begins to loosen, and we start to see and feel ourselves as something that is beyond our body and our brain.
Meditation enhances our ability to love, be kind, be patient, to be compassionate and to be generous of heart.
There is a sense of total fearlessness. We are stationed in something permanent, and so the ever-changing nature of life is but waves on the surface of your ocean.
All these and many other aspects of life, which bring such nourishment to others, will flow effortlessly from the infinite wellspring that is our more expanded state of consciousness.
